How To Get Rounded Corners In DaVinci Resolve

Creating a round corner effect in DaVinci Resolve is very easy to do, and it gives a professional look to your video. Especially when you edit a UI animation, a round corner video is more visually appealing. In DaVinci Resolve, there are many ways to do that, but I will give you two simple tricks so you don’t get confused. Let’s dive into it.

Create a round corner in the Fusion Tab.

  • Select your clip and go to the fusion page.
  • Click the ‘mediain’ node and press { ctrl + Space }, then a toolbox appears.
  • Search in the toolbox for ‘Rectangle’ and add it.
  • After adding the rectangle node, you can see a box appear in the preview window.
  • Adjust the box according to your needs, or if you want to only add a round corner, then select the entire area in the preview window.
  • Click the inspector panel, and here you can see ‘Corner Radius’.
  • Increase the corner radius according to your needs.
  • After that, your corner is round and you can back a media tab.

  • Drag and drop on your footage.
