Davinci Resolve has 2 best ways to remove a green screen, and I’m showing you both! But the best way is a fist, so we dive into the fist way to remove it.

First way

  • Set up all profile settings and drag and drop your clip into your desired place in the timeline.
  • Open an effects panel and search:” 3D keyer ” and select the effect and paste this into your green screen clip.
  • After that, open the Toolbar Options and select ” Open FX Overlay “
  • Now here is the best part! Draw a line around the green screen area and release the key. Then you see the green screen is gone.
  • Here, 90% work is done, but sometimes you will see an edge line, and this is the way you can remove that.
  • If you see an Edge green line surrounding the subject, then first click the green screen clip and go to the inspector panel -> Effects -> and find a ‘Despill’ Option and increase the line according to your need.
  • Congratulations! Your green screen is gone. This is the first and best way to remove green screen from your video. Now we dive into the second way to remove it.
